I had a fender bender around the corner from them, drove over with a piece dragging. They offered me water, let me make my calls, removed the piece from my car and assured me that I could drive it to the body shop. All for no charge. Thanks Yates for being good neighbors!

OK, let's get this out there...I Yelped Yate's Automotive earlier this year after they detailed my Volvo. I just picked up my wife's Lexus. SUPERB job! The SUV looks brand new. Once again, Aaron did our Signature Detail. Inside and out, every nook and cranny cleaned and waxed. Fantastic job and well worth the reasonable price. Sincere thanks - well done!!!

Per usual, my service at Yates was excellent. If you want to have your car serviced at a clean, efficient facility with affable employees, look no further. They are the best.

I went to Yates for an emissions test. They were very knowledgeable about the process. They experienced high volume that day and offered me a free car wash and ride home until they were finished with my vehicle. Awesome customer service!

Hands down, some of the absolute nicest people you'll ever meet. What I thought was a yearly inspection turned into a much bigger (and much more expensive!) ordeal. They couldn't have been more accommodating. And when my check engine light came on the same evening I picked it up, they were willing to fix it at no cost. A+ customer service! I'll definitely be back (but hopefully not too soon!)!

I was trying to inspect my car required by the State of Virginia on the weekend and failed it. Alex did his best to repair my car on the same day and time and I was able to renew my sticker afterwords. Great customer service and people there are very helpful! It is also great that you can inspect your car on Saturday as they are open till 5 pm and that you get a free car wash if you get any repairs done!

Wonderful Car Service & Repair

I just took my 2008 Range Rover Sport to Yates. I used Yelp to select them and based my decision on 1) price and 2) their positive reviews. It was an excellent decision. Like most people, I've had horrible experiences with various car repair stations. The team at Yates could not have been more courteous, professional and informative. My car was ready exactly when they said, runs beautifully, and they even washed it. Best of all, they spared me any attempt to upsell other services, even though my 10yo car needed some additional things done. They simply informed me of a few items and left it at that. Any other shop would've made me say "no" 10 times before getting off the phone. These guys understand what it takes to make a customer happy. I will definitely be a return customer. I brought my 2008 VW Jetta into Yates after the check engine light came on earlier this week. They were able to quickly identify the issue, communicated clearly with me about the solution, and I didn't feel like they tried to upsell me at all. The customer service was great (I spoke mostly with Ken and John) and my car is running smoothly again. You can tell that they are committed to making you a repeat customer, and after seven years in the area, I now have a regular mechanic! Will definitely be back. Thanks, Ken and team!
