Kind staff who know their stuff and aren't looking to screw you. This takes me back to simpler times when you could trust your mechanic.

I would like 2 say they r absolutely great on CUSTOMER SERVICE n getting repairs done with PRIDE n EXCELLANCE.Our family been going 2 them since they were open.They r a family oriented business.I would like 2 say keep up the outstanding service n customer service

I just moved to VA from another state and had to get an emissions test and safety inspection. The guys at Yates made sure I passed my inspection even though there was a discrepancy regarding some lights on the rear end of my vehicle. They ended up saving me a lot of money and were very friendly and nice to work with. When I went to pick up my car it had been washed and vacuumed out, which I greatly appreciated. Would definitely go back here for any future car needs!

The car was not ready on time due to the emissions check and the time it took getting the car back.That also meant there was no time for a wash, which would have been nice.The staff was very courteous and aware of the delay, a car wash was promised at a later date - but how do you just drop in? Seems like it be easy enough to give a card/coupon/something so that the staff know you are not making it up.I enjoy the neighborhood feel and service and will be back.

I have been sending my cars for service at Yates Automotive for over 30 years and have never had even close to a bad experience. The owner, Jason Yates, and his staff always strive for the best customer service and are always seeking ways to bring down the cost of repairs without compromising the quality of service. I would recommend Yates Automotive to anyone. They are a first rate automotive repair shop.

I like that Yates looked at my car without an appointment. I took it in to examine a nail in one of my tires. They came back and told me that two of my tires were too worn to be driven. I had not noticed that. I wish I had seen the old tires, but in the interest of time I went ahead and had Yates do the repair. Had to spend a lot more than I had expected (tire repair vs. 2 new tires), but I guess best to do it to keep the car safe. They completed the repairs and stayed open shortly after 5 pm so I could pick up my car that day.

I have always been very pleased with my service at Yates. The staff are always knowledgable, professional, accommmodating, and friendly. I'll always bring my car back to Yates for servicing. When you change your brand of gas I'll always buy my gas there as well.

We love Yates, they are efficient and always do a phenomenal job. We have used them for everything from car detailing, car repairs and state inspections. They are always courteous and helpful!

Highly recommend Yates. These guys don't stay in business by overcharging you for their services. They truly care about repeat business and go above expectations. I've taken my car in several times for different services and the bill always come back lower than expected defying the age-old stereotype.
